Setting the SKU Class Type (Type)

Each SKU Class is assigned a “Type.” Set the type based on the descriptions below.

Material	Countertop materials – this includes all materials regardless of how they are charged	Quartzite 3CM
Edge	Charges for finished edges	Edges
Pct	Percent - items that are calculated as a percentage of other items	Commission, Discount, Markup
PctMaterial	Percent Material – items that are calculated as a percentage of MATERIAL items	Material Waste
Calc	Line items that apply to an entire job; they are not generally related to a specific countertop	Tearouts, Trip Charge, Labor, Misc.
CalcTop	Charges that apply to specific tops	Cutouts, Faucets, Faucet Layouts, Sinks, Drawing Items
Tax	Tax items	Sales, State
MaterialTax	Taxes that apply only to materials	Revenue Material Tax
InventoryTax	Taxes that apply to inventory items	Inventory Tax
CCAfterTax	Credit card fee that must be applied AFTER tax items – depends on state guidelines for charging credit card fees to customers	Credit Card Fee
