Set the SKU Item Unit (Unit)

The unit is the unit of measure used for SKU Item calculations, such as the cost and revenue. The unit must be one of these values: Each, Finished Linear Feet (FLnFt), Slab, Square Feet (SqFt), Total Linear Feet (TotLnFt).

Note: Metric units can be used in place of feet.

The Unit must be one of these values:

Each

The SKU Item cost, revenue, or other value is calculated based on the quantity of that item added to a drawing or manually set by the user. In this example, each “Elkay 123” sink costs $75 with a revenue price of $250.

Finished Linear Feet

The SKU Item cost, revenue, or other value is calculated based on the quantity of finished linear feet. This value is typically auto calculated by ActionFlow. For example, ActionFlow would measure the finished linear feet of a top and charge $45 for each linear foot of Beveled edge.

Slab

The material cost, revenue, or other value is calculated based on the whole slab.

The slab cost and revenue can be preset in the SKU Items tab and adjusted in the area module based on the individual slab.

SqFt

The material cost, revenue, or other quantity is calculated based on the square footage of a top. This value is typically auto calculated by ActionFlow but can be overridden or manually entered.

Total Linear Feet

The SKU Item cost, revenue, or other value is calculated based on the number of total linear feet for a top. This is not a common unit but some shops find it is a preferred method to charge for labor.
