SKU Item Tax Code Override (TaxCodeOR)
The Tax Code Override field provides a way to override the default line item type during a QuickBooks export.
QB can calculate tax but when it does, it does not create a line item.
ActionFlow can also calculate tax and then you can choose to send the tax line items to QB or not. Some shops prefer to not distinguish those as tax line items in QB.
QB has two types of line items – taxable or not. AF sends line items over and indicates if they are taxable or not with the codes: “Tax” or “NON.”
For example, you may want to send over a credit card convenience charge and indicate that is it not taxable.
