Define the SKU and SKU class (SKU and Class)

The SKU uniquely identifies the SKU item and must not duplicate any other SKU. SKU Items are added to SKU classes.

The SKU must be unique across all SKU items. In most cases, SKUs will not conflict but when SKUs are similar, there are ways to ensure each is unique.

For example, two materials may have the same name so you could add the material type to the end of the SKU in parentheses:

Sage 3 CM (Zodiaq)

Sage 3 CM (Concrete)
