Export Actions to Google Calendar

Export Actions to Google Calendar

Export events from the Scheduler in ActionFlow to Google Calendar. You can either add events to an existing calendar or create a new calendar.
Events should not be edited in Google as the changes will not sync into ActionFlow and any changes made in ActionFlow will override Google.

Configure the # of Past and Future Days

Update Events

After making changes to events OR adding events in the ActionFlow scheduler, click the "Export to Calendar" button to update the events in the Google Calendar. This will only update for the Google Calendar selected in "Calendar Config."

Add Events to Other Calendars

ActionFlow can only export events to ONE calendar at a time. If you would like to send events to a different calendar:
  1. Select the other calendar in "Calendar Config"
  2. Hit "Save"
  3. Click "Export to Calendar"

Data Transfers ONE-WAY

Data will only transfer from ActionFlow TO Google Calendar. If you make changes in Google Calendar, those will be overridden once the "Export to Calendar" button is pushed in ActionFlow.

Setup the Google Calendar Export

Setup the Google Calendar Export by either clicking "Export to Calendar" for the first time or clicking the nearby gear button.
  1. You will be prompted to sign into your Google account and asked to give ActionFlow permissions.
  2. Close out the window which informs you that the APIs have connected to one another.
  3. Add the Scheduler Users whose events you would like to show in Google.
  4. Add the Actions you would like to show in Google.
  5. Click "Save"
  6. Click "Export to Calendar"
You can either add events to an existing calendar or create a new calendar. If you create a new calendar, it should show up in "Calendar Config" in ActionFlow but you may need to click "Logout" in "Calendar Config" and sign in again.
