Snap to Any Degree/Angle When Drawing

Snap to Any Degree/Angle When Drawing

Set the "Snap" angle for angled tops in the "Angle" textbox. This will set the angle when using the "Draw" button and the inside angle for the pre-defined batwing shape.

Figure 1. The "snap" angle is 30 degrees. Once the top is drawn, you can edit the angle.

To Draw, click the draw button, left click to start the drawing, and then left click to change directions. When you change direction, the angle will default to this snap value. Right click to end the drawing. After completing the top, you can edit the angles.

Figure 2. The Snap to Angle value is 45 degrees so the angle of the drawn top is 45 degrees. Left click to begin drawing, left click to change direction, and right click to complete the top.

The "Snap to Angle" value also sets the angle of the predefined "Batwing" top.

Figure 3. The Batwing pre-defined shape uses the "Snap to Angle" value to set the inner angles of the batwing

You can set a default "Snap to Angle" value for each price list in the "Calculation Defaults" section.
