Charge for the Rectangular Area Surrounding a Top

Charge for the Rectangular Area Surrounding a Top

The "Rectangle" feature will charge for the smallest rectangular area around a top.

Figure 1. The "Rectangle" box is checked for this top, so ActionFlow charges for the rectangular area around the top.

In the example below, an arc is added to the first top so the area of the rectangular shape around the arc is included in calculations.

Figure 2. When the "Rectangle" box is checked for a top, the calculated area of the top includes the rectangular area surrounding an arc, angle, or radius. A duplicated top is displayed WITHOUT this setting to demonstrate the difference in area (15.4 SqFt vs 16.4 SqFt)

If the "Use Rectangle" field is checked for the Price List, when an angle, radius, or arc is added to a top, ActionFlow will automatically check the "Use Rectangle" box for that top. ActionFlow will include the rectangular area surrounding the angle/radius/arc in area (SqFt or M^2) calculations.

Figure 3. The Rectangle setting is checked by default for this Price List.
