Adjust Revenue to Target Value

Adjust Revenue to Target Value

Manually set the revenue for your quote to provide a discount, upcharge, or set a specific value.

If you have questions about how that will show up on the quote or if you would like to adjust the way you display line items to your customers, talk to your account manager.

How it works and set up

When manually setting or adjusting the revenue, ActionFlow adds a line item (hidden from the customer) that makes up the difference between the calculated value and the set value.

In this example, the calculated after-tax revenue was $2,938. The Target Value is $3000 after-tax, so ActionFlow added a "Target Adjust" line item for $57. That line item is hidden from the estimate.

Figure 1. The "Target Adjust" SKU is used to manually bring the after-tax revenue to $3000. The SKU item is hidden from the estimate.

To set this up, select the SKU item that will be used as the line item for "Adjust to Target SKU" feature. This setting is completed during account configuration and/or may be auto set when an account is created.

Figure 2. In the "Calculation Defaults" for this price list, the Adjust to Target SKU item is called "Target Adjust"
