Increase Text Height in Drawings

The Text Height Multiplier field sets the font size in the drawing.

Figure 1. Text Height Multiplier setting for price lists

Text Height Multiplier = 3

In this example, the value is “3,” which works well for standard size jobs.
Figure 2. The Text Height Multiplier value is 3.

However, if you have many tops for one drawing, the font size is too small.

Figure 3. The Text Height Multiplier value is 3 - when there are many tops in one drawing, the font is too small to read.

Text Height Multiplier = 10

Therefore, you could increase the value for quotes with many tops in one drawing – the value is 10 in this example.

Figure 4. The Text Height Multiplier value has been increased to 10 to make it more readable for a drawing with many tops.

Text Height Multiplier = 0

If the Text Height Multiplier is 0, the text font is 0 so no measurements, cutout information, or details appear on the drawing. This can be useful in some cases but if it is not intentional, increase the Text Height Multiplier to ensure drawing text appears.

Hidden Dimensions on Individual Tops

If you would like to hide text on an individual top, you can set the “Customer or Fab Dimension” setting to “Hidden.”

If you do not see the "Dimensions" settings, it may be hidden in the area module. Check out how to edit which settings are visible in the area module.
